Zadok Allen is a character who first appeared in the H. P. Lovecraft novella The Shadow Over Innsmouth.
Zadok is one of the few completely human residents of Innsmouth, and an alcoholic. After Robert Olmstead provided him some whisky, his drunken ramblings informed Olmstead of the town's strange dark secret.
Born in 1831, Allen disappears and dies in 1927, after being kidnapped and sacrificed by the Esoteric Order of Dagon.
In the Robert M. Price short story The Transition of Zadok Allen, instead of being sacrificed, Zadok was instead transformed into a Deep One.
Zadok is also featured in the video game Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.
