The Wire Twins are a cenobites and loyal follower of Pinhead. After corrupt police detective Joseph Thorne investigates a what seems to be ritualistic murders, he finds the Lament Configuration. After solving it, Thorne's world turns upside down. He assumes he is having hallucinations or nightmares.
The nightmarish but seductive Wire Twins distract him from his mission to solve the crimes.
