Absolute Horror Wiki

The Shambles of Ed Gein is a short essay written by Robert Bloch. It was first published in 1962. It was reprinted in the 2002 posthumous collections Crimes and Punishments. The story is a comparison between the fantastical contents of the works of H.P. Lovecraft and the reality of the murders in the Ed Gein case.

Synopsis[]

First Bloch describes how H. P. Lovecraft described the far-away places were horror dwells, then points to the Ed Gein case as a real house of horrors.
