The Return of the Witch is a short story written by Ramsey Campbell. It was first published in the 1964 collection The Inhabitant of the Lake and Less Welcome Tenants. It was later published in the 1986 magazine Crypt of Cthulhu, #43, Hallowmas 1986, edited by Robert M. Price. Campbell also included it in his collection Cold Print.
