The Real Road to the Church is a short story written by Robert Aickman. It was first published in the 1975 anthology Nameless Places, edited by Gerald W. Page. It was reprinted in the 1975 collection Cold Hand in Mine: Strange Stories and again in the 1993 posthumous collection The Collected Strange Stories, Volume II.
