The Keeper of the Key

The Keeper of the Key is a novelette written by August Derleth. It was first published in Weird Tales, May 1951. It was reprinted in the 1962 collection The Trail of Cthulhu and the 1997 collection The Cthulhu Mythos. It was reprinted again in the 1998 collection In Lovecraft's Shadow: The Cthulhu Mythos Stories of August Derleth. It was also reprinted in teh 1966 anthology Weird Tales of the Supernatural, edited by Kurt Singer and in the 1976 magazine Galassia No. 221, edited by Gianni Montanari..
