The Book of Blood: On Jerusalem Street is a short story written by Clive Barker. It was published in Barker's collection Books of Blood, Volume I.
Synopsis
Wyburd is hired to obtain the Book of Blood for a collector. He captures and skins Simon McNeal. Later, the skin starts to bleed and won't stop, and Wyburd eventually drowns. He ends up on the Highways of the dead where he tells his story. This story, along with the prologue from Volume One, was adapted and directed into the film Book of Blood by John Harrison.
