Skipper Matthews is the main character in the R. L. Stine Goosebumps novella Attack of the Mutant.
Skipper is obsessed with comic books, specifically The Masked Mutant, an comic about the titular super villain. Soon Skipper discovers that the Mutant is real but nobody believes him. After stumbling upon his lair, he and the almost useless hero The Galloping Gazelle, attempt to stop the villain.
After fooling the Mutant to turn into a puddle, Skipper learns that he, himself is a comic book character after a cut on his finger bleeds comic book ink.
