The Sivler-Handled cane was featured in the 1941 film The Wolf Man.
While attempting to court Gwen Conliffe, Lawrence Talbot purchases the cane as an excuse to talk to her. He later brings it with him to a Romani fortune teller named Bela. When Bela sees the pentagram in the palm of Gwen's friend Jenny's hand, he sends them away.
Later while walking back home through the woods, Jenny is attacked by a wolf and Lawrence manages to kill it with his cane, but not before being injured. Before long, Lawrence learns he has been cursed with lycanthropy and will turn into a werewolf.
After terrorizing the countryside and murdering several people, Lawrence's own father, Sir John Talbot kills Lawrence with the same cane, not realizing he was the werewolf.
