Scroll of Thoth was a fictional scroll from the 1932 film The Mummy.
Imhotep was revived when Ralph Norton reads aloud from the scroll. When he notices Imhotep up and moving, Ralph is driven mad.
Later Imhotep, now going by the name Ardeth Bey, plans to revive Princess Anck-su-namun into the body of Helen Grosvenor. When Sir Joseph Whemple discovers the danger of the scroll, Ardeth Bey manages to kill Whemple by inducing a heart attack.
When Bey initiates the ceremony to resurrect Anck-su-namun, the spirits of ancient ancestors intervene, and destroy both Bey and the scroll.
