Professor Tagore, played by George Pastell, is a character in the 1961 film Konga.
Professor Tagore is a target of the mad scientist Dr. Charles Decker. Decker, after discovering a serum that gave a chimpanzee named Konga the ability to grow to the size of a gorilla and go into a murderous rage, he plots to use his discovery to kill Tagore, Dean Foster, and Bob Kenton.
Tagore is strangled to death by Konga.
