One Hallow's Eve is a short story written by Allen B. Ury. It was first published in his 1996 collection of vampire short stories Bites: The Hunt & More Fright With a Bite.
Synopsis[]
One Hallow's Eve is about a 12-year-old boy who is obsessed with Halloween and vampires. One night in September, after a long day of hazing from his friends and sister, he goes out into the night dressed as a vampire. He attempts to scare a couple cheerleaders, who scoff and laugh at him. Soon afterward, he is taken under the wing of a group of cool-looking guys who turn out to be real vampires.
