Muncher, voiced by Josh Gad, is a character in the film Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Mucher is a ghost who first appeared in the barn of the Spengler Farm. He is shown insatiably eating metal. After Phoebe Spengler and Podcast nearly capture him but fail after Podcast is unable to open the trap in time, Mucher escapes the farm and goes to downtown Summerville.
After Trevor Spengler picks Phoebe and Podcast up on the highway, they find Muncher and destroy lots of property attempting to catch him. Muncher is able to use some of the metal he's eaten similarly to bullets as he spits them at Ecto-1 to defend himself. He is finally captured as he flies toward the Gozer Temple on the outskirts of town; however, the kids are arrested due to the destruction they caused.
The sheriff confiscates the Ghostbusting equipment and locks it in a cell. Phoebe and Podcast are unable to get them out until Podcast released Muncher from the trap and Muncher ate through the solid bars.
