Mrs. Matthews is a character in the Goosebumps novella Attack of the Mutant written by R. L. Stine. In the television adaptation, she was played by Mag Ruffman.
Mrs. Matthews is married to Mr. Matthews. Their son, Skipper is obsessed with comic books, especially the character The Masked Mutant. In the television adaptation, she witnesses Skipper's transition into Elastic Boy, something that did not happen in the book.
