Mrs. Brewer, played by Lucy Peacock is a character in the television adaptation of the R. L. Stine novella Stay Out of the Basement.
Mrs. Brewer leaves early in the episode to visit family. When she makes it back home near the end of the story, she finds Dr. Marek bound and gagged in a closet.
While she was gone, her husband Dr. Michael Brewer had been experimenting on plants. After accidentally cutting himself, his DNA was mixed in with a super-plant that took on his identity and replaced him. Thanks to their children Margaret and Casey, they manage to destroy the clone and free their father.
The story ends with her hugging her freed husband and children and seeing Dr. Marek out.
