Mr. Lantz

Mr. Lantz, played by Ed Call, is a character in the film A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Mr. Lantz is the father of Glen Lantz. As Glen's girlfriend, Nancy Thompson appears to be slowly losing her sanity, Mr. Lantz cuts off communication between her and Glen. She continually tries to call his house to no avail and Mr. Lantz has taken the phone off the hook. In doing so, Glen falls asleep while watching music videos and is killed by Freddy Krueger.
