Mathematician is a poem written by Bruce Boston. It was first published in Star*Line, November 1978. It was reprinted in the 1984 collection All the Clocks Are Melting and in the 1984 anthology Burning with a Vision: Poetry of Science Fiction and the Fantastic, edited by Robert Frazier.
