Ludwig, played by Michael Mark, is a character in the 1931 film Frankenstein.
Ludwig is a farmer. He goes to work as his daughter, Maria picks flowers. He doesn't realize until too late that Frankenstein's Monster has thrown Maria into the pond, thinking she'd float. Unfortunately she drowns.
He carries her into town telling everyone she was murdered. The outraged townspeople pursue the Monster with torches in order to kill him.
