Llewellyn Crossbinder

Llewellyn Crossbinder, played by John Carradine, is a fictional character who appeared in the television film The Night Strangler.

Crossbinder owns a Seattle Newspaper and just so happened to have hired Tony Vincenzo after he and Carl Kolchak were fired from the Las Vegas paper due to the events from The Night Stalker. Vincenzo goes to bat for Kolchak and Crossbinder hires him as a reporter only if he reports strictly real news and no more fantastical stories.

But as a series of strange murders continue, Kolchak discovers the killings are man named Dr. Richard Malcolm who initially took an elixir in 1868 that greatly extends his life however he must kill six people for their blood every twenty-one years. Despite presenting Crossbinder with overwhelming evidence, thus convincing him of the truth, Crossbinder has no choice but to fire both Vincenzo and Kolchak.
