Larry Boyd is the main character in the R. L. Stine Goosebumps novella My Hairiest Adventure. He is played by Aaron Bartkiw in the television adaptation.
Larry smears the contents from a bottle labeled Insta-Tan and before long he notices he is sprouting hair all over. His friends begin disappear one at a time. He goes to great lengths to hide his new condition, constantly shaving himself and keeping hidden when he can.
Eventually he notices the dogs around the neighborhood resemble his missing friends. He, himself, finally turns into a dog, though the Insta-Tan had nothing to do with it. Larry was born a dog, but Dr. Murkin turned him into a human so his parents could have a child. However, the formula didn't last long and he reverted back to a dog. Dr. Murkin has since started experimenting on cats.
