Kenny determines that they need to crush his head to protect themselves. Depending on the player's choice, he will kill him or leave him alive.
On the way back to the motel, the group finds an abandoned car with supplies and Kenny decides to take what he needs for his family. They get overrun by walkers when a group attacks and a shootout starts. Duck gets bitten and they leave in the camper. Along the way, Lilly angrily confronts Carley and Ben Paul about someone slipping the bandits supplies. Lilly eventually shoots Carley, killing her.
Kenny then drives away without Lilly but Duck eventually succumbs to his walker bite. Katjaa kills herself in grief. Kenny, Ben, Lee, and Clementine eventually come upon a train. They get it running and make good progress until a dangling fuel tanker truck on an overpass stops them. Omid and Christa help them dislodge it and join their group. They make their way to Savannah.
In Savannah they hole up in a house and determine to get a boat running. They have to go to the local high school to get fuel and a battery to get it running. Along the way Kenny becomes more and more unstable, due to his heavy losses. When Clementine is taken, he decides to help Lee get her back despite having a working boat at his disposal.
When Ben falls in an alleyway, Kenny goes to assist him, even though he blames him for his wife and son's death. He only has one bullet and when the alley is overrun with walkers, he uses the bullet to prevent Ben from suffering. It is assumed that Kenny died in the alley.
The Walking Dead: Season Two[]
When Clementine and her new group of survivors find a ski resort, Kenny is among their group of survivors. He has changed a bit. His attitude has hardened. He becomes fiercely protective of those close to him, especially Clementine.
Along the way throughout the game it is up to Clementine's decisions to see how far he goes. He can beat a man to death with a crowbar or let him go. Even during a confrontation, Clementine is forced to decide to allow him to stab someone or to shoot him in the head to protect her.
