Kamoebas appears in the 1970 film Space Amoeba directed by Ishirō Honda.
Kamoebas was a rock turtle that was mutated when controlled by the Space Amoeba. A stone crab named Ganimes was mutated as well. After the Space Amoeba is nuetralized, Kamoebas and Ganimes faced off before being engulfed in volcanic lava.
