Janice Starlin, played by Susan Cabot, is the main character in the 1959 film The Wasp Woman. In the 1995 remake, Starlin was played by Jennifer Rubin.
Janice Starlin is the face of a major cosmetics company. She has started to show her age, however, and it is affecting sales. A scientist in her lab, Dr. Eric Zinthrop, has developed an anti-aging serum derived from the royal jelly from a queen wasp. To her astonishment it works. But over time, when it wears off, she ages rapidly, and eventually she turns into a human/wasp hybrid.
