J. P. Monroe is a character in Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth. He was played by Kevin Bernhardt.
J. P. Monroe is a shallow man who owns the nightclub The Boiler Room. He is a collector of art which compels him to buy the bizarre piece, the Pillar of Souls. After sleeping with Sandy, a gullible girl he meets at his club, she gets too close to the pillar and is consumed. That causes Pinhead to resurrect, ultimately setting off a chain of events which include the destruction of The Boiler Room and converting J. P. himself into a cenobite.
