Hard Hat Worker, played by Scott Wickware, is a character from the television adaptation of the novella Welcome to Dead House written by R. L. Stine.
The Hard Hat Worker was first seen by Amanda and Josh Benson meeting in secret with the Dark Falls Mayor and other town members. He was near panicked because he needed desperately to feed. When Amanda and Josh were spotted, he begged them to let him feed on them.
After they escaped back to their house, the Hard Hat Worker is again spotted in the house after the zombies break into the house and chase the Bensons to the attic before being destroyed by sunlight.
