On the distant world of Terra, a fearsome monster was under the command of the two last beings left on the planet. Protecting its masters, the beast slaughtered any creature that threatened their safety. When two children from Earth hitched a ride on a spaceship back to Terra, they witnessed the knife-headed giant completely annihilate a troublesome Space Gyaos. After cutting the menace’s head off and butchering its body, Guiron was called back to its subterranean quarters.
After the two kids befriended the aliens, the true nature of the beings was discovered. The Terrans wanted to eat their brains to learn more of the Earth before making a home there. Thankfully for the kids, Gamera had followed the spaceship and landed on the world. Probing their minds, the aliens learned of the titan terrapin and unleashed Guiron. The beast attacked the guardian, using its sharp blade and shurikens to wound Gamera unlike that of any other. Overpowered by the sheer viciousness of the guard dog-like kaiju, Gamera was defeated and left for dead at the bottom of one of Terra’s great lakes.
However, the hero would revive just in the nick of time. In their attempt to escape their imprisonment, the two children accidently opened Guiron’s pen. Wandering outside and uncontrolled, the monster began to run amok. It caused the death of one of its previous masters by cutting the escape ship in half and nearly killed the children, but the guardian turtle returned. The pair clashed, but Guiron’s wicked shurikens once again stabbed into his flesh. The guardian managed to beat the deadly alien kaiju back into its pen before diving into the lake to remove the shurikens from his limbs. However, Guiron refused to be put back in his cage and quickly broke out. Diving into the water, the battle was back on.
At the same time, the last surviving Terran activated a powerful rocket to end the nuisance caused by Gamera and the kids once and for all. Holding onto the knife-headed monster, Gamera took to the air. The pair burst from the water and the heroic terrapin stabbed Guiron’s head into the ground. With control of the rocket, the two boys fired it. The explosive hit the sharp blade and was cut in half! While one side flew off and hit the cityscape, killing the final Terran in the blast, Gamera caught the other. He threw it into Guiron’s shuriken launcher and unleashed a blast of fire. The warhead then detonated, blowing the space monster in half and ending the life of the dangerous war monster.
