Gale Cooper, played by Amy Ryan, is a character in the 2015 film Goosebumps.
Gale is Zach Cooper's mother. They moved to Madison, Delaware after her husband died for a fresh start and a job opportunity as a high school vice-principal. She is shown to worry about Zach's emotional well-being after his father's death, especially after he calls the police on the neighbor for perceived abuse toward his new friend Hannah. In reality, his neighbor is R. L. Stine and is trying to keep outsiders away to prevent his monsters from escaping.
Gale is at the school dance after Stine's monsters indeed do escape. She joins Zach, Hanna, Champ and Stine to trap the monsters back into a manuscript.
