Jungle Hunter, played by Kevin Peter Hall, is the antagonist in the 1987 film Predator. It is also featured in the film's novelization written by Paul Monette.
After the Jungle Hunter's ship landed in Guatemala, it's not long before American military personnel are found killed, skinned, and hanging from trees.
Alan "Dutch" Schaefer gets called in with a team of mercenaries to intervene. The Jungle Hunter cloaks itself and runs along the tree canopies, hidden, as it takes out the mercenaries one by one, finally culminating in a head to head battle with Dutch.
Dutch manages to outsmart the Jungle Hunter using guerilla tactics. Once it was bested, it self-destructed, nearly taking Dutch out with it.
