Dr. Theodore Bohmer, played by Lionel Atwill, is a character in the film The Ghost of Frankenstein.
Dr. Bohmer was Dr. Ludwig Frankenstein's teacher but is now his assistant at a successful practice in Visaria.
After Ludwig revives the Monster and it nearly kills him, his sedates him and tells Bohmer to dissect him. Bohmer refuses, claiming it would be murder.
Ludwig wants to put the brain of his other assistant, Dr. Kettering, who the Monster killed, into the Monster. Ygor pulls Bohmer aside and tells him the Monster would never be loyal to Ludwig but if Bohmer placed Ygor's brain in the Monster, he would be loyal to him.
When Ludwig performs the brain transplant, he is unaware that Bohmer has replaced Dr. Kettering's brain with Ygor's. When the town members storm the lab, the Ygor-Monster wants Bohmer to fill it with gas to kill them all. Ludwig tries to stop him but is killed by the Monster.
Suddenly the monster goes blind. The dying Ludwig explains that Ygor's brain is not compatible with the Monster's blood type. The Monster throws Bohmer into the electronic equipment, electrocuting him to death.
