Dr. Phillip Channard, played by Kenneth Cranham, is a character in the film Hellbound: Hellraiser II.
Dr. Channard becomes obsessed with the Lament Configuration after hearing Kirsty Cotton's story of the events from Hellraiser. Instead of destroying the bloody mattress Julia Cotton was killed on, he uses a mental patient to sacrifice on it. Doing so brings a skinless Julia back to life.
He provides Julia with people for her to feed off of until her flesh grows back. She promises to fulfill his curiosity about the box. The two of them arrange for a girl named Tiffany to open the Lament Configuration. Pinhead, Chatterer, Female Cenobite, and Butterball all show up and nearly tear her to pieces before Pinhead stops them. He realizes even though she opened the box, she wasn't calling for them. Someone else was.
Channard and Julia walk through the corridors that were opened by the box, looking at other people's versions of hell until he's tricked into becoming a cenobite himself. After becoming a cenobite, he becomes very powerful, killing several hospital patients and even the four cenobites before Kirsty and Tiffany manage to kill him and close the door by solving the box.
