Dr. Eric Zinthrop, played by Michael Mark, is a character in the 1959 film The Wasp Woman.
Dr. Zinthrop has created an anti-aging serum after experimenting with royal jelly from a queen wasp. Janice Starlin, the face of a cosmetic company, encourages him to continue and tries it herself. The serum shows great promise, making her look years younger. However, when the serum has altered her DNA and she transforms into a giant wasp, Zinthrop throws carbolic acid on her face and she falls out a window to her death.
