Dark Falls is a town featured in the Goosebumps novella Welcome to Dead House written by R. L. Stine. It was also the central location in the television adaptation of the book.
Dark Falls used to be an ordinary blue collar town like any other. One day there was an industrial accident at the plastics factory that caused all of the residents to turn into zombies who could no longer go out in sunlight and had to feed on the living.
Resident realtor Compton Dawes brings fresh families in by selling homes in Dark Falls in order for the residents to have a fresh stock of food. He sold "Dead House" to the Benson family, but Amanda and Josh Benson managed to discover the town's secret by overhearing the Mayor and other residents at the cemetery and destroyed most of the zombies with sunlight when they terrorized the Bensons in their home.
As the Bensons left Dark Falls for their previous home, they watched Compton Dawes moving a new family in.
