The Cursed Camera is a recurring item in the Goosebumps book and television series. It was first introduced in the 1992 novella Say Cheese and Die! written by R. L. Stine.
The camera was an ordinary camera until an unnamed inventor made improvements to make it a perfect camera. His assistant Dr. Fritz Fredericks stole the camera to use it for his own personal gain. After discovering this, the inventor cursed the camera.
In Say Cheese and Die!, Greg Banks finds the camera and with each picture it takes, the picture slides out revealing something terrible that will happen to the subject.
