Richard Laymon was a little-known but very prolific writer from the 1980s and 1990s whose stories were frequently filled with copious amounts of sex and violence. The protagonists were always attractive women, usually caucasian with blonde hair. Despite occasionally using monsters, the real villains were always perverted men who loved to torture, rape and kill. His most famous works were the Beast House trilogy.
