Brian Barnett/Awards

• In 2009, Barnett was declared a NaNoWriMo "winner" for being able to type three stories that totaled 50,000 words or more in only 30 days. He wrote three middle-school-aged novellas: Graveyard Scavenger Hunt, Roly Poly Rampage and Ghost Girl with a total word count of 60,579.
• Toe Tags: 21 Spine-Tingling Tales from the Best New Authors of Horror, co-edited by Barnett and William Pauley III finished 3rd overall in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll for Best Anthology of 2009.
• Toe Tags 2: Blood and Bizarro, co-edited by Barnett and William Pauley III finished 4th overall in the Preditors & Editors Poll for Best Anthology of 2010.
• Barnett's haiku, Demon Daddies finished 4th overall in the Preditors & Editors Poll for best poem for 2010.
• The New Flesh, the fiction site Barnett co-edits with William Pauley III finished 6th overall in the Preditors & Editors Poll for best Fiction Magazine/ezine of 2010.
