- In 2009, Barnett was declared a NaNoWriMo "winner" for being able to type three stories that totaled 50,000 words or more in only 30 days. He wrote three middle-school-aged novellas: Graveyard Scavenger Hunt, Roly Poly Rampage and Ghost Girl with a total word count of 60,579.
