Billy Harlan is a character from the Goosebumps book Welcome to Camp Nightmare written by R. L. Stine. He was played by Kaj-Erik Eriksen in the television adaptation.
Billy Harlan is a camper at Camp Nightmoon. Not long after he arrives, a large wolf-like creature attacks the campers. Uncle Al, the camp Director chases it off with a rifle. When Mike, a bunk-mate of Billy's, is bitten by a snake, he is told there is no nurse and soon after he goes missing. Then Larry, a camp counselor, injures another camp while playing sports.
Uncle Al acted like he never heard of any of the campers who disappeared. When a couple campers from the girl's camp are discovered to have left their camp, Uncle Al and the other counselors take arms with rifles loaded with tranquilizer darts. Billy refuses to hunt them down and holds Uncle Al at bay with a rifle of his own. It is revealed that the camp was really a military training compound and Billy was being tested to see if he was prepared to make the trip to Earth with his parents.
