Barnabas Marsh is a character who was first featured in the H. P. Lovecraft novella The Shadow Over Innsmouth.

While Robert Olmstead arrived in Innsmouth, he was known as Old Man Marsh. He was the grandson of Obed Marsh and son of Onesiphorus Marsh who was Obed's son by his fully human wife.

He was the owner of the Marsh refinery.

While drunkenly spilling the town's secrets to Olmstead, Zadok Allen says of him: "Right naow Barnabas is abaout changed. Can't shet his eyes no more, an' is all aout o' shape. They say he still wears clothes, but he'll take to the water soon."
