April, played by Shonda Farr, is a character in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
April is a robot created by Warren Mears to be his girlfriend. He eventually grew bored of her and abandoned her, hoping her batteries would run out. She eventually followed him to Sunnydale. Spike attempted to flirt with her and she threw him through a window. Buffy Summers attempted to settle her down but April shoved her to the floor.
The Scoobies eventually figured out she was a robot and knew she could eventually hurt someone. When April confronted Warren and his girlfriend Katrina Silber, he told April that he was in love with Buffy in order to save himself. April turned her attention to Buffy. While the two fought, Buffy was able to damage April's circuitry but April was still able to overpower her. Eventually the damaged circuitry and her low battery caused her to shut down.
