Abdul Alhazred is a character who appears in several stories written by H. P. Lovecraft. He is often reffered to as "The Mad Monk".
Alhadred is often cited as the man responsible for writing the Necronomicon. After writing the book, he was eaten by an invisible monster in front of a large number of witnesses.
