Aaron Korey

Aaron Korey, played by Jefferson Hall, is a character in the 2018 film Halloween.

Aaron and Dana Haines are true crime podcasters who are doing the footwork for the Michael Myers murders in 1978. They visit Myers in Smith's Grove Sanitarium trying to get his perspective on why he committed the murders. Dr. Ranbir Sartain assures them he has not spoken the entire time he's been under his care. Aaron attempts to coax him to speak by showing him his old mask, which upsets the other Smith's Grove inmates.

After leaving Smith's Grove, they travel to Haddonfield to interview Laurie Strode. They convince her with cash to allow them into her home, which she's converted into a fortress of sorts. They try to coax her into sitting down with Myers in Smith's Grove to ask him personally why he did what he did, but she refuses and send them on their way.

In the novelization, the two check into a hotel and it is revealed that they are in a romantic relationship.

They stop at a gas station on their way out of town, but unbeknownst to them, Myers has escaped a transport bus and has arrived at the filling station where he is already murdering a mechanic. Dana goes to the restroom while Aaron fills the car up with gas. After a few moments, Aaron enters the gas station and finds both workers brutally murdered. Meanwhile, Myers is terrorizing Dana in the bathroom stall by dropping the attendant's teeth on the floor. Aaron enters the restroom and Myers slams his face into the stall door multiple times. He slumps in the corner and dies slowly as Myers strangles Dana to death.
